   Ziua de 9 mai, ZIUA eTWINNING, a fost o zi plină de veselie, energie, entuziasm și culoare!   Eram cu toții emoționați de ceea ce urma să se întâmple. Am luat prăjiturile,stegulețele și bannerele,  pe care le-am pregătit cu o zi înainte,iar apoi am pornit spre terenul de sport ,unde urma să ne întâlnim cu ceilalți eTwinneri.   Râdeam, glumeam, povesteam despre cât de magic a fost momentul în care am ascultat pentru prima dată cântecul despre Elemer, despre câte repetiții am făcut până am pus în scenă piesa de teatru și cât de frumos ne-a ieșit.   Am defilat împreună cu celelalte clase, am fredonat melodia. Ne-am simțit unici, diferiți, speciali, uniți, fiind parte dintr-un întreg și anume, marea familie eTwinning. Am dansat cu mare bucurie în cinstea celor 20 de ani de eTwinning, care ne-au dechis calea către activități inedite, de colaborare, de oportunități.

Over 350 children from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Greece and Italy met, synchronously (via the eTwinning platform), to celebrate together friendship, diversity, #eTwinning and everything that unites us, within the project "Books, friendship and diversity – Celebrating what unites us!" Muzică, dans, mesaje pozitive, cântec, diseminările și multă stare de bine au transformat această zi într-o adevărată sărbătoare a sufletului de copil și de profesor. Pentru câteva ore, granițele au dispărut, iar inimile au bătut în același ritm! Mulțumim tuturor copiilor minunați, cadrelor didactice implicate și partenerilor care au făcut această zi posibilă! Mulțumim, Ada Văduva Salsa Linda Paul Razvan Vaduva , pentru că ești magică, pentru ca răspunzi cu sufletul deschis fiecărei invitați...

  First, we set up the scenes for the play. We practiced each scene a few times, then we filmed it. Two students helped me edit the entire film and with special effects. The children were very involved in interpreting the characters. It was fun and interesting at the same time.💖😊

💕  We talked about the characters from the book Elmer. We drew elephants, tigers, giraffes, jaguars, then colored them and glued them to cardboard.It was so fun!😍

Evaluation To get to know our friends from other countries, we visited their schools using the Google Maps app, answered general knowledge questions in the quiz, and viewed images of them and their city.  

 Mentimeter with Elmer If we finished reading Elmer's Story, we wanted to see what we remembered from everything we read.  So, we made a collaborative mentimeter with some other friends, where we wrote down a meaningful word for the story we read.  At the same time, we practiced writing letters.

Last day of Elmer On the last day of reading, we finished The Story of Elmer the Elephant.  We made a collage with all of Elmer's elephant friends from the story. We took a picture with the Elmer the elephant frame and made it on the board, using colored paper.  

Elmer, day 2 The next day, I read the next 5 pages of Elmer's story.  I explained the sentimental symbolism of the colors depicted on Elmer's body.  I colored enough squares with the appropriate colors from the story to glue them together to form a collage of the shape of Elmer the elephant.  

 Elephant parade The students made cardboard elephant masks, which they decorated to resemble Elmer's friends from the story. Then, they wore the masks and acted out their favorite scene from the book they read, the party scene at the end.  To end the activity, we did a parade of elephants in masks.

First day with Elmer We read the first 5 pages of the story Elmer the Elephant. We created the shape of Elmer the Elephant from colored sheets. We wrote a keyword that defines the action in the first pages.  

 Elmer - Comic strip The children colored pictures from the story Elmer the Elephant. They chose appropriate lines for each illustration. They wrote the lines on colored sheets of paper and acted them out. This is how our comic strip took shape.

  I am unique because... The children created a multicolored cloud. Then, they thought about reasons why they are unique. They wrote the sentences by tracing the letters on the dotted lines. Then they glued the strips they wrote on under the cloud.

Each child chose a color that they associated with a favorite moment in life.  They listed their qualities and argued why they are unique.  The activity was wonderful! 💛💙

 The mask parade (we prepared for the theater) and a short skit with our favorite sequences from the book! We can't wait to see the full movie of the book!
